How to Hold Your Own Google+ Hangout and Why You Should
One of the coolest features of Google+ is the so-called “hangout.” Hangouts are spontaneous multi-way video conferences for people on Google+. They can be limited to specific circles or open to the public. In this article, fundraising coach Marc Pitman talks about Google+ hangouts and what they can do for your business.
The author highlights the following potential uses for Google+ hangouts:
- Using it as part of the sales process (not to be pushy, but to strengthen relationships).
- Allowing customers to contact you for support – like having virtual office hours.
- Town hall-style chats with the CEO or Executive Director of an organization.
Have you used Google+ hangouts for your business? If so, let us know how it went in the comments!
Grow Your Audience with Google+

In this article from the Webmaster Central Blog, Google talks about the main features that can help your business grow its audience with Google+:
- Google+ Pages
- Hangouts (see above)
- Circles (for organizing customers – e.g. into VIP circle for special content)
- Google+ icon
